The weather was not kind to us this year on this overcast day. The parade was not rained on but the gala was not so lucky. After last year's rollicking occasion, this year's parade looked a bit lean, with nothing like as many floats. We did have a police band in place of the majorettes, though, and the chinese dancers made their energetic debut. The helicopter did not appear - so, no new aerial views for you this year.
