Here are some sounds from the beginnings of Penistone FM and a few special occasions, which I provided with their kind permission. My thanks to Eskia Computers for use of their web-server. A further selection of PFM downloads can also be found in the 'Listen Again' section of the Penistone FM website.

Spooky Stuff
Most of the 2009 presenters are in the picture below from Cubley Hall, September 2009. Charlie Sissons was a popular presenter with a late night Rock Show. She instigated this social evening and I weaseled my way in. The team showed that they were a friendly and dedicated bunch of people. Andrew coerced Darren into giving a speech and my trusty Edirol R1 was to hand. Hear it in the Special Occasions list above (Pep Talk). The picture below-right is of Ken David, who had a popular Sunday morning show at the time. He could not attend the do but I did not want to leave him out.
The middle picture below was prompted by a question on Jimbo's website: "Was there a ghost?" Jim thought that the shadows looked spooky. It's a poor picture, as the shadows were lightened to see what was lurking there. It looks like Andrew's shadow on the wall - but was it really a shadow? Let's call him 'Malcolm the Friendly Ghost'. Some of you will understand that.
